A small wedding is intimate, deeply personal and usually much more relaxed than a bustling, showy event. You can include extra touches, spend more time with your family and close friends, and simply be more present in the day. To get that perfect, intimate wedding, you need the perfect small venue.
We’ve pulled together our favourite small and intimate wedding venues in Glasgow.
Don’t forget to consider your wedding car once you’ve chosen your venue. We have dozens of wedding cars in Glasgow available to hire.

There’s a beautiful zen garden (the first in Britain), a church built in the medieval style, and galleries. The ceremony room is small and intimate to facilitate a quiet, laid-back wedding.

A small wedding usually has 20-60 people and is sometimes known as a ‘family and friends wedding’. It’s ideal for those who want to focus on being present on their special day, rather than having to say hello to hundreds of extended family and distant friends! Small weddings are usually more intimate events and are more budget-friendly.
The difference between a small wedding and a micro wedding is that micro weddings are typically up to 20 people while small weddings are usually around 20-60 people. Micro weddings are often the most relaxed, budget-friendly events, and are usually much shorter. Small weddings are still very relaxed but might last the same amount of time as a bigger wedding.
Don’t forget that once you’ve got your wedding venue, you’ll need to hire a wedding car!
